Cottage Bathroom Renovation

I really enjoy renovating bathrooms...not sure why, but I do. The original bathroom had a tub and a corner sink. We felt a shower would be more efficient for guests.

Gene gutted the entire room, so it was fun to start from scratch.

I found an old door on Craig's List that already had mirror in place of glass. We thought this would make a great sliding door and give our guests a place to check themselves out. We needed a tiny sink and found it at Ikea. Gene built the cabinet and matching mirror and I painted and distressed it. I also designed the wallpaper myself through Spoonflower. If you look closely you can see the whimsical Woodland animals that make out the diamond pattern.

I found some vintage soap and toothbrush holders, used an old maple sap bucket for a trash can, an owl rug from Anthropologie and animals knobs and hooks to get that woodland/rustic feel.
