Monogram Onesie

A neighbor of mine had a baby boy so I decided to make him a Monogrammed Onesie with some felt an embroidery thread.

Cardigan Redo

I almost purchased this great sweater from Anthropologie until I realized I can just make it myself. So, I took my plain black cardigan, some embroidery thread and got stitching.

Sunday Project: Eyeglass Case

I have all these wonderful leather scraps stashed away so yesterday I decided I needed a new eyeglass case. I love the look of the silver leather and I can find it easily in my dark handbag.

I used a fancy stitch on my sewing machine to add some detail to the 6.5 square piece of leather. I don't often use this feature but thought I would give it a try... I liked the effect. Sewed a closure piece of leather to one side (about 3"by 1/2"), made two slits for the closure piece to tuck into on the other side, folded over the leather and sewed the 2 sides closed.
