Take Him Out to the Ball Game...

I treated Gene to a Yankees game on Saturday. What fun we had and they won! New stadium is beautiful.

Addition of Facci fixer upper

Gene finished framing the entire kitchen. We installed all the windows and doors and the shingled the roof.

Gene will be climbing in Nepal for 5 weeks, so not much will be happening for awhile.

Gene and I framed the kitchen this weekend. I learned so much!

Our fixer-upper

The inside of the house before we gut it. Through that small door in the background, is the river. We tore off the back of the house.

This is the house we purchased on the Esopus River to fix up and flip. We've already demoed most of the inside and tore off the back of the house. Our main project right now is building the new addition onto the back of the house. Originally we were going to split it into a kitchen and mudroom leading out to a deck, but after consulting with a great architect and friend, Barry Price, we're going with a full kitchen. Thank you Barry!

These pictures reflect the inside of the house facing the River and the start of the kitchen/addtion. Gene poured all the peers and did all the framing... that's me with the nail gun.

An Eggcellent Easter
